multi-media writer and producer. A native of Des Moines,
Iowa, Tess devotes much of her time to educating and empowering
children. To date, her World Trust Foundation www.worldtrust.org
has made a positive impact to thousands of children from
many countries.
Tess has traveled the world capturing footage and photographs of children and
indigenous peoples, with the theme of building cross-cultural tolerance and understanding.
Her content is being made into an interactive, educational series to bridge the
youth of the world.
She now adds children’s book author to her growing list of life achievements.
Her first book, Bella Wishes™ instills a
strong self-image for young girls, to have fun exercising with music and dance,
and to feel confident about their bodies from an early age.
Tess began dancing at the age of seven. She danced professionally, nationally
and internationally, while living in New York City and Los Angeles, CA. After
the loss of her parents in 2003, she decided to get back into dance, to help her
through the healing process. She began belly dancing classes, which had been her
goal for many years. Inspired by her classes and the vision that came forth, it
became apparent that a message needed to be given to girls of all ages to begin
dance and to feel confident with their bodies, while also instilling self-respect
for themselves as well.
Bella Wishes™ and all products sold through
CarLou Media will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Young Scholarship Fund
under the World Trust Foundation.
Tess currently resides in Los Angeles, CA. tess@carloumedia.com.
